- Criador e realizador de programas na área dos direitos da criança e do adolescente no Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar, na FIA e na ABRAPIA.
- Ex deputado estadual e presidente da Comissão da Criança, da Mulher e do Idoso da ALERJ.
- Durante dois anos foi perito do Juízo em Varas de Família.
- Co-participante da elaboração do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA).
- Membro atuante da Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria (SBP) e da Sociedade de Pediatria do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (SOPERJ).
- Comunicador dos direitos da criança e do adolescente através da mídia, de palestras e conferências.
